To replicate the case concrete there is a sand finish to the case, and it is mounted on a washed gray Ash wood base. The FLLW silent sweep seconds hand is behind a glass lens and help on with match square elements which mimic the hour markers. The Accurate quartz movement uses 1 AA battery (not included. )
